I’m a content strategist who starts with the audience. For fifteen years I’ve turned research, customer stories and community feedback into content and programs that earn attention and loyalty. Working with freelancers, interns, volunteers and cross-functional teams along the way.
Here’s a look at some of my past work
Sept 2024 – Oct 2026
CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER
Led content and email for a SaaS platform serving destination marketers. I turned research, customer stories and a product showcase into content that engaged users and helped Sales, Product and Account Managers. I also ran the monthly customer and prospect newsletter, ad hoc sends and nurture sequences, project-managed our conference attendance and sponsorships, and lined up customer speakers for webinars and events.
Owned the annual flagship report. I drafted the survey, synthesized the results, wrote the report and worked with the team to launch. It was one of our biggest pipeline drivers.
Customer interviews turned into stories that spotlight the work they do and how the product plays a role.
Built to inspire customers and showcase how customers are using CrowdRiff. Sales and account managers referenced in conversations.
Mar 2023 – Sept 2024
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
At Student Affairs I supported communications and digital storytelling for students, parents and staff, making sure everyone knows what programs and services are available on campus through a newsletter, the website and social channels. I collected content from different departments, then put together and designed the annual reports highlighting impact. (Annual Report, Enrolment Report)
2021 – 2022
Community Manager
Content for a family fintech brand, shaped by surveys, user interviews and what the community told us.
Pop-culture money tips
A content series on blog and social that shared money lessons through pop culture. It lifted engagement and readership, and Liev Schreiber reshared one post, Entrepreneurial Skills We Can Learn From Ray Donovan, on his Instagram story.
2011 – 2016
Senior Community Manager
Community and forum: I launched a community-focused strategy that turned members into the platform’s strongest advocates. The forum I built became a hub where members could connect with the brand and each other, share what worked and learn how to grow their businesses. It also gave our team product insights and a clearer view of what to write about. Over time it grew into an Ambassador program, where members took on mentoring, training and other roles.”
Fiverrcast: A weekly podcast hosted by two volunteer Ambassadors, who interviewed members and guests and shared stories, tips and advice for running a successful business.
Spotlight series: A blog series where successful members shared their stories and lessons learned. It was a major revenue driver for the blog and some of our most liked and shared social content.

“I loved working with Natalie at CrowdRiff, where she was our Content Marketing Manager. She spearheaded a new customer newsletter series and built out our case studies, among other things. Her content saw high engagement from customers, which led to expansion opportunities and became an additional channel for product feedback that drove the development of new features. She was also generous with her time and always willing to help.”
Enita Yuan, Senior Product Manager, CrowdRiff
“She brings a warm, welcoming energy to every conversation and is always willing to help, open to feedback and looking for ways to improve and optimize the processes and responsibilities she supports. Any team would be incredibly lucky to have Natalie as part of it!”
Simrita Mahal, Business Development Manager, CrowdRiff
"Every brand dreams of building a community of loyal customers and becoming an ambassador for that brand. Not every brand has the person to strategize and execute such a plan. I've been fortunate enough to have Natalie lead this with me at two companies. Her desire to help the community comes in many forms - from talking to them about product pain points to telling fantastic customer stories and advocating on behalf of our community with leadership. I absolutely love her desire to do what's best for the customer while still maintaining a focus on growth through open communication, new ideas and collaboration with performance marketing, brand marketing and product teams. I'd love the opportunity to work with Natalie again in the future."
Kashem Miah, VP Marketing, GoHenry
"Nobody has more empathy for the customer than Natalie. It's been amazing to work alongside her to get to the bottom of customer pain points and figure out the best, most creative ways to solve them."
Sarah Ruehlow, Head of Product Marketing, GoHenry
"Not only was Natalie a pleasure to work with, but she is highly organized, efficient and effective at getting things done. Natalie is a great team player and during her time with our organization, she used her positive attitude and excellent people skills to successfully organize different kinds of events and coordinate complex community projects and activities."
Sarah Beutel, VP Community Building, JFO
"In my time working at Fiverr, Natalie was the company's heart and soul of the Fiverr Community. She excelled at publishing great material on the Fiverr Blog, and created and managed high quality engagement of the people who visited the Fiverr Forum. In addition, her work to create and maintain the Fiverrcast podcast gave the company much needed additional rich media content, and the Fiverr Ambassadors' Program was essential in creating a highlight of the best Fiverr spokespeople, who are effectively the brand's strongest word of mouth marketers.
